Roanoke Chapter 285 Annual Awards Banquet The next Chapter quarterly meeting and awards banquet will be held on 1 May at the Holiday Inn, Tanglewood. ( Near Tanglewood Mall in Roanoke) Our guest speaker for the event is Maj. Gen William L. Holland, Commander of 9th Air Force. This is the Chapters annual awards banquet at which we will recognize outstanding Chapter members, cadets, active duty officers and enlisted, and our teachers of the year. THe cash bar opens at 6:00 p.m with dinner at 7:00 p.m. Individual buffet dinner costs are $29 for members and guests who register and pay before the meeting, and $30 for those who pay at the door. The cost for cadets is $23. Contact the chapter treasurer, Kevin Fucella, at afa285@gmail.com to register for the meeting. We are looking for a big cadet turn out, so please consider sponsoring a cadet as well.
